AIIMS CRE Exam 2024 Age Limits

AIIMS CRE Exam 2024 Exam Pattern

The examination pattern for the Common Recruitment Examination for AIIMS (CRE-AIIMS) 2023 consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT) with two parts: General and Domain Specific. Here are the details of the exam pattern:

General Part (Part 1):

• Duration: 45 Minutes
• Total MCQs: 40
• General Intelligence and Reasoning – 10 MCQs
• General Awareness & Knowledge of Computers – 10 MCQs
• Quantitative Aptitude – 10 MCQs
• English/Hindi Language and Comprehension – 10 MCQs

Domain Specific Part (Part 2):

• Duration: 45 Minutes
• Total MCQs: 40
• The syllabus will be in accordance with the education qualification and experience (essential/desirable) as mentioned in the advertisement as applicable to the specific post.

Important Notes:

• Each question in both parts carries equal marks (1 mark each).
• There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
• The qualifying marks are 40% for UR/EWS, 35% for OBC, 30% for SC & ST, and 30% for Persons with Disabilities (PWBD).

Resolution of Tie Cases:

In cases where more than one candidate secures equal marks, ties will be resolved in the following order:

1. By marks in the domain-specific part, with the candidate having higher marks placed higher in merit.
2. If not resolved by (1), by using the date of birth, with the older candidate placed higher.
3. If not resolved by (1) and (2) above, by using the first name of the candidate with the first alphabet placed higher.

Skill Test:

• A Skill Test is applicable to respective posts for candidates qualified in CBT.
• The skill test, if required, will be conducted as part of the selection process.

Additional Information:

• A candidate may be eligible for one or more posts in a group subject to the eligibility criteria mentioned in Annexure III.
• Allocation for appointment will be based on eligibility, merit, and choice.
