ECR Railway Apprentice 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have completed 15 years of age.
• The upper age limit is 24 years as of January 1, 2023.

Age Relaxation:

• 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.

• 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Relaxation for Ex-servicemen in the age will be total Military service plus 3 years, subject to completion of at least six months regular attested service.

• The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
• ITI in the relevant trade (National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT) is required.

Reservation:

• Reservation for SC/ST, OBC, EWS, and other categories is as per the government norms.
• There is a 4% reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (HI/VI/LD/MD).
